The WLRU Scholarship recognizes and honors student academic excellence, commitment to public service, and financial need. WLRU is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax-deductible. You can support a student in a number of ways.

• Become an active WLRU member and attend the numerous social and educational programs scheduled every year.

• Participate in fundraisers such as our annual garage sale in October.

• Make a donation to one of these: 

  • ​WLRU Community Service Endowed Scholarship awarded to qualified New Brunswick undergraduates;

  • Roy Bowers and Harriet Bowers Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 1990 by Dean Emeritus Roy A. Bowers and awarded yearly to an Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy student.

• Donations of $500 are matched with our funds, in which case, WLRU presents a scholarship in the donor's name, or the donor's designee, at the annual scholarship awards ceremony.​
